Five signature scents, five interior design philosophies. Here's how to find yours.

Every scent we make starts with a room.

When we launched Danhomme, the question wasn't "what fragrance should we build next?" — it was "what does this space smell like?" A Japandi apartment in Tiong Bahru doesn't smell the same as a Cozy Cottage kitchen in Bukit Timah, and neither smells like a British Colonial living room in Tanglin. The bottles shouldn't lie about that.

Here's the field guide.

British Colonial — Walnut-stained wood, jasmine spilling through open louvred doors, lemon from a late breakfast, cinnamon from the kitchen. This is the scent of a home that's lived in and well-travelled. Warm, narrative, a little masculine. For rooms with dark timber, brass fittings, and linen upholstery.

Cozy Cottage — Bergamot, cedar, cinnamon, lavender, sandalwood, vanilla. It smells like going home to someone who loves you. This is not a minimalist scent. It's wool throws and bread in the oven and the garden just outside. For homes where the sofa is the most important piece of furniture.

Japandi — Bergamot, yuzu, cedar, white tea, hinoki, sandalwood. Clean, deliberate, calmer than anything else we make. You notice it the way you notice good lighting — never loud, always right. For pale wood, paper, and the kind of room that makes you exhale when you walk in.

Mid-Century Modern — Bergamot, green apple, basil, cardamom, oakmoss, cedarwood, white musk, vetiver. Refined and a little unexpected, like a teak sideboard next to a velvet armchair. Polished without being precious. For homes that take design seriously but don't take themselves too seriously.

Scandinavia — Bergamot, green apple, lemon, white tea, birchwood, cardamom, pink pepper, sandalwood. Bright, skin-close, and honest. The fragrance equivalent of winter light through a north-facing window. For rooms that believe in space.

No scent is "better." They're different rooms in the same house, and the right one is the one that sounds most like the way you live.
